Social Media for Businesses Webinar

Live Webinar – Thursday, Feb 17, 2011 @ Noon EST
Repeated Tuesday, March 1, 2011 @ Noon EST

Social Media is only valuable if it can be monetized and used to contribute directly to the growth of your business. By leveraging social media, you are able to efficiently find and target new people at the point when they are most interested in the information you offer.

I believe that PMs will have an increasing role in Planning and Executing social media projects. Stakeholders will begin to expect due diligence and quantitative measures of success for these projects. Metrics that indicate the success of social media projects were discussed in the ASPE presentation on Building an Electronic Marketing Department. ASPE used both Return On Time (ROT) and Return On Investment (ROI) with their electronic marketing department. These metrics can be difficult to quantify and social media projects will require the skills of a Project Management Professional. – EdmontonPM
