Topic: Just Enough PM to Rock Your Projects – Become a Project Management Minimalist

“Project management (PM) is not rocket science! And, despite what

many PM experts would like you to believe, it’s fairly easy for anyone to learn to use a few basic PM tools and processes to assure that projects are well-organized and completed on time, on budget, and with excellent results.”

@Michael Greer

In this webinar, from Project Management Minimalist Michael Greer, you will learn how to use the PM Minimalist Quick Start Guide (including a lean, one-page checklist) to plan and manage any project. Michael will examine 10 PM Minimalist Values you can use as a framework to tighten up your project management practices. Mr. Greer will also provide an overview of 10 Steps to Project Management Success, as described in his book, The Project Management Minimalist: Just Enough PM to Rock Your Projects!
.

In addition, he’ll further examine these 10 Steps to help you understand how to keep your project team focused and complete the project as quickly and easily as possible.

These Steps include:

  • Step 1: Define the project concept, get support and approval.
  • Step 2: Get your team together and start the project.
  • Step 3: Define the exact finished work products.
  • Step 4: Identify tasks and phases for the work products.
  • Step 5: Estimate time, effort, and resources.
  • Step 6: Build a schedule.
  • Step 7: Estimate the costs.
  • Step 8: Keep the project moving.
  • Step 9: Handle scope changes.
  • Step 10: Close out phases, close out the project.

If you need a lean, common sense introduction to project management or are a veteran project manager who needs to simplify your project approach this webinar is designed for you!

  • Evaluate the value of a social learning strategy within their organization.

  • Forecast obstacles in the organizational culture that block social learning
  • Fuel engagement within the framework of a social learning culture.

Presenter: Terrence Wing, the founder of LIQUID LEARN, specializes in Social Learning Implementation, blended training design, delivery and evaluation, and augmentation of instruction with learning technology.
