Current work of recent Nobel Laureates has revealed a series of biases in the way we estimate work that affects our project planning.

This webinar details some of the worst of these intellectual “traps” and features several exercises to illustrate how we all fall prey to them.

After demonstrating how deeply we are biased, the program will offer several ways we can counteract the influence of these biases, escape the traps, and improve our estimates of project cost and schedule.

NOTE: The webinar features hands-on work with concrete tools, so bring a calculator and be prepared to push a pencil.

Presenter: Jack Nevison PMP, (LinkedIn profile) is President of New Leaf Project Management, and author of books and articles on project management.  He has served on the editorial board of the PMNetwork for ten years. Most recently, he chaired the 5th edition revision of the PMBOK Guide’s Chapter on Cost.

Note: You do have to be a PMI® member to register for this opportunity.
