PART 1 Now Recorded – (Click To get info and link to the session)

This is part 2 of the 2 parts “Sustainable Development” webinar series. The sustainability concept is sweeping across the entire world involving almost all social, economic, cultural, educational and political institutions. It is now unrealistic to think of running a program or project without a plan for its sustainability.

The current economic and financial crisis plaguing world economies have a been a litmus on their sustainability and long-term viability of many banks and other financial institutions and this has had some dramatic effects in the implementation of projects sponsored by these financial institutions.

It is a truism that Project Sustainability remains a major challenge nowadays not only to developing countries but to developed countries as well due to technological transformation, political changes, corruption, nepotism, deregulation, financial instability characterized by insolvency and liquidity problems, and other social, cultural, environmental and economic factors.

This webinar focuses on the relationship between Project Management and Total Quality Management and how they complement each other towards project sustainability. It also evaluates the contribution of other concepts such as Six Sigma Methodology, Configuration Management, Capacity Building, Knowledge Management, Project Planning and Management, human resources management and their impact project implementation and its sustainability.

The webinar also elaborates on basic quality improvement tools such as SWOT Analysis, process flow analysis, cost-benefit and cost-effectiveness analysis, quality organizational structures, systems analysis, feasibility studies, change management, issue management, risk management process and organizational behaviour and team building which help to analyze and evaluate various quality management processes.

The webinar is intended for scholars, researchers, professional consultants in project management, quality assurance, quality improvement and general management, health research institutions, hospitals and clinics, health insurance companies, small and large-scale businesses, Governmental and Non-Governmental and other international organizations involved in the implementation of projects around the world.

Live Webinar – August 19th, 2014 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm EDT
Presented by: Eclipse Project Portfolio Management
Duration: 1 hour 1 PDUs Credits: Category C 1 PDU- Free PDU

Organization structures in most companies today make resource management a daunting task. A lack of visibility into resource allocation and capacity, consistent prioritization and validation of actual work versus planned, contribute to this challenge.

Over 50% of IT organizations surveyed use their “best guess” when determining what capacity IT has to perform projects in a given period.

This webinar presents the fundamentals for creating and implementing a Resource Management Model using people, process and technology. A Resource Management Model is a set of processes that provide visibility, decision support and structure to effectively manage people in an organization.

Allocating resources based on availability and fit, supported by standard processes, will improve the success and predictability of projects across your organization.
