Live Webinar September 25th, 2014 – 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm EDT
Duration: 1 hour webinar Credits: 1 PDU Category A – Free PDU
Sponsored by: PMI INPD CoP (REP #S011)

The difference between chaos & a smoothly running organization Is Leadership!

This webinar places considerable emphasis on experience as a key factor in leadership development.

Nearly every leader who makes it to the top of whatever pyramid she or he is climbing does so by building on earlier experiences.

The truly successful ones are those who learn from those earlier experiences – be they good or bad. By reflecting on and analyzing past experiences to help solve larger future problems leaders learn and grow from their earlier experiences.

Thinking back to a past or not so past leadership experience reflect on:

  • How vividly did you communicate the vision for your task or project?
  • Were you successful in motivating others?
  • How realistic were your agendas and timetables?
  • How well did you follow-through, and …
  • Were you successful in securing resources?

You may even be thinking about the solitude at the “top.” If you have achieved a modicum of success, then you no doubt feel a certain tingling satisfaction perhaps even a bit of obsession.

In the tough times that we find ourselves in nowadays it is imperative that good leaders regenerate themselves, their people, and their organizations in the true spirit of collaboration so that they, together, stay ahead of the curve.

In this webinar we will challenge the “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” culture and move toward a culture of “if it has not broken in the last six months, then we have time to reinvent it!”

That holds equally true for yourself, your strategies, your people, your business and operating processes, your tools, and your technology.

Presenter:  Dr Joe Bellefeuille (GGI bio) teaches at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in leadership, human resource management, organizational behavior, and decision making.  Joe holds Bachelors and Masters of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering as well as a Doctor of Education degree in human development. Currently Joe is studying how business entities can improve their performance by adopting deeply collaborative relationships with their vendors and customers.
