The digital world is growing and changing at a rate that can seem overwhelming to those project managers who have to keep up with it to build customer-facing solutions and applications.

It’s rare for project managers working in this field to be provided with much direction or a process by which to carry out a project, so Taylor Olson (LinkedIn profile) decided to create and document the Digital Rollout Process – 30 proven steps that project managers can use as a checklist to ensure a successful digital project.

The Rollout Process was developed to fill the knowledge gap currently experienced by new digital project managers by providing the information, best practices, and proven steps to successfully manage digital projects from end-to-end.

Build Performance Strengths In Your Team!

Webcast Highlights:

  • The importance of conversation in driving results
  • 3 practices you can start doing now to equip leaders with the mindset and tools necessary to drive strong performance
  • Skill sets needed for stronger performance in today’s workplace

Performance management is often thought of as the activities, systems, and processes put in place to measure individual and collective goals.

Think annual performance reviews or 360-degree peer evaluations.

At Fierce, when Beth Wagner (LinkedIn profile) Fierce Master Facilitator,  builds strategy for performance management, she focuses on specific behaviors necessary to build a culture of strong performance.

In this webcast, Beth will explore flaws in traditional performance management and share 3 leadership practices for a stronger performance culture.

By adopting a more intentional use of conversation in performance, leaders will have the confidence to drive what is most critical for success – both personally and company-wide.

Self-Healing Systems

Live Webinar July 26th, 2016 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM EDT
Duration: 1 Hour Credits: 1 PDU Category C Free
Presented by : O’Reilly

We can think of computer systems as human bodies, comprised of cells of various types.

In computer systems, these “cells” can be hardware or software, and they can behave in similar ways to cells observed in a human body.

Software units can be made with the ability to self-heal. Self-healing can be applied to almost any type of architecture but provides best results when combined with microservices; in general, the smaller software units are, the easier it is for them to self-heal, recuperate from failures, multiply, or even be destroyed if needed.

Viktor Farcic explores the practices and tools required to set up fully autonomous self-healing systems capable of both reactive recuperation from failures and proactive prediction of steps that should be taken to prevent failures before they happen.

Presenter:  Viktor Farcic  (LinkedIn profile, O’Reilly bio) Sr. Consultant CloudBees; speaks at  conferences, and is the author of The DevOps 2.0 Toolkit: Automating the Continuous Deployment Pipeline with Containerized Microservices and Test-Driven Java Development.  Viktor is passionate about microservices, continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), and test-driven development. HE has coded using a plethora of languages including Pascal, Basic (before it got the Visual prefix), ASP (before it got the .Net suffix), C, C++, Perl, Python, ASP.Net, Visual Basic, C#, JavaScript, Java, Scala, and more. His current favorite is Go.
