Concurrent Product Development and Concurrent Engineering are successful because of effective “cross-functional” teaming, a sixty year old concept that is still evolving and changing with technology and global teaming.

Concurrent product development is not just doing tasks in parallel, but focusing on project definition, cross-functional teaming and constant refinement of the final product based on end user requirements.

Cross-functional teams are the key to accelerating innovation, reducing time to market and delivery the right product or service to the end user.

In this webinar Rob Beachy (LinkedIn profile) will provide insight into how high performance teams establish the following to make Concurrent Product Development and Concurrent Engineering successful.

This includes:

  • Establishing Goals, Objectives and Process/Project Management
  • Defining Roles and Responsibilities
  • Identifying and Dealing with Barriers

Change Is Inevitable!

Change is often the only thing constant within organizations.

Failed change management initiatives leave your organization at risk for lower employee engagement and higher turnover.

In fact, Quantum Workplace’s 2017 Employee Engagement Trends Report revealed that when it comes to organizational change, nearly one-third of employees are either uncertain or don’t understand why the change occurred.

When your organization faces imminent changes, how will you leverage the voice of uncertainty in your organization and lead the organization through change instead of letting the change manage you?

In this panel webinar, you’ll hear how three companies tackled communication issues and employee morale challenges through three different times of change including:

  • Mergers & Acquisitions
  • New Leadership Teams
  • Evolving Cultures

Their approaches are unique and valuable, don’t miss out.

Most projects are not successful. According to a 2014 survey, less than 30% of capital projects are delivered on time or on budget.

Planning and executing a successful project requires finding balance between the project schedule and risk.

There are five schedule risk analysis steps project teams can follow to balance schedule and risk: schedule validation, model risks, risk analysis, results analysis, and reporting & monitoring.

With these five steps, teams can better understand the project plan – properly estimating schedule contingency, identifying schedule drivers, analyzing the impacts of risk against the project schedule and developing risk-based what-if scenarios, resulting in more successful projects.

Presenter:  Wesley Gillette (LinkedIn profile) is Director of Client Services for Safran Software, a leading provider of Project Planning & Scheduling and Project Risk management software for project and asset-intensive industries. With 14+ years of experience , Wes has previously held roles as Product Manager and Services Manager for Oracle Primavera Risk Analysis (Pertmaster) where in addition to consulting and training. The perceived wisdom is that organizations should have dedicated cyber/information security teams.

Unfortunately, in too many cases, such teams are obstacles to business innovation, rather than enablers.

In this webinar Tom Scholtz (LinkedIn profile), Gartner VP Distinguished Analyst; demonstrates how the functions currently performed by typical security teams can be performed as effectively, if not better, by other existing teams and employees in the enterprise.

Discussion Topics:

  • Where in the enterprise most dedicated security functions can be delegated
  • The advantages and disadvantages of such a strategy
  • What you should do regardless of whether a strategy such as this is appropriate for your enterprise
