Live Webinar 1 PDU (1 hr duration 1 PDU)
Presented By ASPE (REP 2161): Dave Caccamo, PMP

The term “micromanagement” definitely (and deservedly) has very negative connotations. Nearly everyone agrees that as a management technique, it leaves a great deal to be desired. But at the same time, managers rarely, if ever, recognize the micromanagement style in themselves.

What constitutes a micromanager and do you display the symptoms? How can you correct the micromanagement tendencies in your management approach? If micromanagement is not effective, then how do you deal with procrastinators and other problem team members?

This seminar looks at why individuals micromanage, how to correct your own tendencies, and how to deal with situations where you might tend to find yourself taking the micro approach.

Seminar Presenter:

Dave Caccamo, PMP, (LinkedIn profile)has three decades of experience in engineering, economics and project management. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Naval Academy and a Masters of Economics (Engineering Minor) from North Carolina State University. Dave has demonstrated time and again his ability to make complex business and engineering concepts understandable to executives, managers and technicians through his fundamental modeling of subject matter.

This is a 1 hour seminar and attendees will be awarded 1 PDU for participating.
