Duration: 1 hour live webinar Credits: 1 PDU Category C Free
Presented by: Software Engineering Institute Carnegie Mellon

Agile isn’t a single method, it is a collection of methods that share a common philosophy.

The reality of agile implementations is that they are often:

  • Partially implemented
  • Poorly implemented
  • Inconsistently Implemented
  • Fail to deliver the promised benefits

This presentation focuses on understanding the agile fundamentals. It starts with a quick look at the most commonly used agile methods and then provides a structured approach for selecting the most effective agile methods for your organization and their projects.

Key considerations are:

  • Will your methods scale up to the requirements of your current and future projects
  • With the many agile methods, how do you empower the developers in making appropriate agile process selections while maintaining a consistent and manageable organizational standard

This presentation will summarize the latest research associated with successful agile adoption. It will discuss an optimal agile solution combining organizational consistency and project scalability.
