With the rise of the Business Analysis Profession, the field of project management will never be the same again!

Only a few years ago, there was no such thing as the Business Analyst (BA). Today, we see more and more organizations using BAs to define the requirements of new systems and products and to manage product scope. BAs now work directly with project managers and project teams—and rightly so.

A good BA can help carry the project manager’s burden and greatly increase a project’s chances of success. In this webinar, we will explore how a BA works in harmony with a project manager to manage project scope and help projects succeed.

In this interactive session, participants are encouraged to reflect on the contributions a Business Analyst can bring to the project table. Through the use of examples, participants will see why improving project results without the role of the BA doesn’t work as well or as long as having a Business Analyst and Project Manager on the project at the right time.

Participants will:

  • Learn how BAs contribute to organization success
  • Understand the role of the BA at the Project Table
  • Gain internal selling points to acquire a BA
  • Learn how BAs support the PM and team for ongoing project success

What Your Will Learn:

  • Why every project should have a Business Analyst
  • The key role of the Business Analyst and how they work with a Project Manager
  • How the Project Management Institute’s Body of Knowledge, PMBOK®, compares to the International Institute of Business Analyst Body of Knowledge, BABOK®
  • What skills of the Business Analyst will complement the Project Manager
