Resolving Resource Overallocation between projects is a common requirement for several organizations.

At the same time the techniques for resolving Overallocations in a Project Server Environment are not understood well enough. W

hile the techniques themselves do not vary too much from the ones used for stand-alone projects using MS Project 2010, it is important to keep the Server environment in perspective.

The goal of this session is to cover these techniques in depth, as applicable to an organization using Project Server 2010.

Some of the topics that will be part of this discussion are:

  • Identifying an Overallocation of Resource, within your project and across projects
  • Manual methods of resolving overallocation
  • Using Resource Leveling in a Project Server Environment
  • Tips and tricks on designing an efficient Resource Allocation process
