There Is Conflict In Organizations

Many leaders are acutely aware of the complexity within their organizations and it makes them uncomfortable.

Therefore they:

  • Strive to simplify
  • Look to refine processes
  • Look for straightforward systems and uncomplicated tools
  • Seek the least common denominator.

But, most of us work in complex environments. And that’s not a bad thing.

Consider:

  1. The number and variety of components in your organization: people, processes, technologies, products, rules, etc.
  2. The relationships between all of those components; the way people interact with technology, the impact of legal/external compliance rules on business processes, etc.
  3. The ever increasing rate of change within and among all these components.

To put it simply, there’s lots of stuff, it’s all related and it changes very quickly.

The problem is not complexity, it is confusion. Organizations that effectively manage these intricate connections thrive in the marketplace. It’s their ability to engage and process their complex challenges that makes them strong. Nowhere is that more evident than in Talent Management.

This webcast will discuss the varying dimensions of complexity within Talent Management and their role in strengthening your business. We’ll also discuss strategies for reducing confusion and using complexity for competitive advantage.
