  • Is allegiance to the status quo paralyzing your organization? Are you tired of settling for compliance?
  • Do you crave committed and needed change?

This session will illuminate the hidden human drivers of resistance and how to neutralize them in order to mobilize people.

In this session, attendees will learn about proven, practical tools to influence change in individuals and across organizations.

Understand that to effectively influence others to change you must let yourselves be changed…and that one of the best ways to change ourselves is to truly focus on others’ needs, challenges, and objectives.

By the end of this session, participants will have been introduced to tools that will help them change their own perspectives and then invite others to change in ways that reduce resistance and inspire commitment rather than compliance.

In this session you will:

  • Learn how mindset underlies, drives, and sustains behavior change
  • Learn the difference between an inward mindset and an outward mindset, and their impact
  • Gain awareness about self-deception and how it shows up at work
  • Learn about tools to obtain and implement an outward mindset personally and in organizations

Online Webinar  – Recorded December 14th, 2018
Activity Type: Education – Online or Digital Media 1 PDU – Free
Provider:  TidalShift (Rep 1051)  PDU Code: 1051U3Z2L8

In this session TidalShift looks at how providing feedback using a coach approach can be extremely impactful.

They will discuss how to provide relevant and “call to action” feedback using the OSCAR model, giving PMs tools they can use to have those difficult conversations.

The OSCAR model,

  1. Outcome: Help the team member to clarify their outcomes.
  2. Situation: Get clarity around where the team member is right now.
  3. Choices and Consequences: Help the team member to generate as many alternative choices as possible and raise awareness about the consequences of each possible choice.
  4. Actions: Help the team member to clarify their next steps forward and to take responsibility for their own action plan.
  5. Review: Create an ongoing process of review and evaluation. This is where you help the team member to continually check that they are on course.

Giving (and getting) feedback can be very uncomfortable, at times to the point where we will avoid it at all costs.
