  1. Are you on an Agile team and not seeing value out of your sprint planning?
  2. Are you looking for tools or best practices to make the ceremony more effective?

If so, you will benefit from this webinar.

Sprint planning is when the Agile development team takes the prioritized product increment and begins translating it into a goal and a plan of action.

The team learns more about each backlog item, engages in estimation exercises, and defines the goal of the sprint.

When sprint planning runs effectively, the team comes away with clarity and purpose in their work and the chances of delivering on the sprint goal increase greatly.

In this webinar, NK will describe best practices of engaging and effective sprint planning to help you put your team in the best position to succeed.

NOTE: May’s webinar has been postponed to July 14, 2022. If you have already registered, no further action is needed.

Presenter: NK Shrivastava (LinkedIn profile) PMP, PMI-RMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, SPC, is CEO of RefineM LLC and an experienced and certified Project Management Consultant, Risk Management Professional, and Agile Coach with over 25 years of experience in project management. It’s been more than two decades since Amy Edmondson (LinkedIn profile) first introduced the concept of psychological safety as a key component of team learning and development.

In today’s “workers economy,” employees are re-examining what work means to them, and they’re making new choices around how, when, and why they do it. We’re in the midst of a talent migration, and creating psychological safety at work is more important than ever.

In this webinar, Christa will explore the interconnected relationship between a sense of belonging, individual commitment, and team performance.

Gain insight into:

  • Why psychological safety is especially critical for organizations as we transition to hybrid work
  • Essential coaching behaviors that build trust and drive results
  • Ways to design team experiences for inclusion

Agile found its way into project delivery with many certifications trying to define various Agile project roles. Most Agile frameworks, such as Scrum, Crystal, and XP, were conceived by developers for a small team of software developers, and the Project Manager role is usually omitted.

Unlike some specialized Agile Project Manager certifications, PMI’s Project Management Professional (PMP)® remains the benchmark for the Project Manager role with an increased focus on Agile and Hybrid practices but without compromising the predictive knowledge required to manage projects that can’t or won’t use Agile practices.

In this webinar Stelian Roman (LinkedIn profile) gives a comparative analysis of the Scrum Master, seen in some organizations as a replacement of the Project Manager role; various flavors of the ‘Certified Agile Project Manager’; and the standard Project Manager role.

The Agile Enterprise webinar series explores the impact of Agility on Project Management knowledge areas at the Enterprise Level. Attendees will learn how traditional Project Management practices can be adapted to support Agility at the Enterprise level, what the benefits of Agile adoption are, and how the benefits can be quantified.

The most complicated military project in history started well before June 6, 1944, the day when the first of 156,000 men landed in Normandy, along with the first of 50,000 vehicles, brought there by 5,000 ships with air operations requiring 11,000 airplanes.

Just how complex and just how successful was this project?

In this presentation Walter Viali will attempt to shed light on the planning and execution of this huge effort from the perspective of the Knowledge Areas of the PMBOK® Guide. Some of the findings may turn out to be quite unanticipated and surprising.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Planning, planning, planning! It’s never enough!
  2. The importance of logistics. Define upfront and in detail.
  3. Proof of concept and prototypes are critical.

Presenter: Walter Viali (LinkedIn profile) PMP brings 30+ years of experience leading projects and building PMOs for his clients around the globe. He brings  expertise including Strategic Business Planning, Business Reengineering, Portfolio Management, and Project Management Office (PMO) implementation & has extensive experience conducting organizational assessments using the Software Engineering Capability Maturity Model (SEI CMM). The Big Quit. The Great Resignation. The take-this-job-and-shove-it economy.

There are a lot of colorful names to describe the state of affairs in the workplace as many organizations contemplate – or implement – “return to office” guidelines.

  1. With the next-new-normal of hybrid work looming on the horizon, how are you reimagining the way teamwork might occur along the axes of time and place?
  2. Who is authoring the decisions about the parameters of flexible work, and how are you balancing individual and team needs and preferences with those of the organization?

In this webinar, Christa will examine some often overlooked aspects of hybrid work, exploring hidden power differentials and ways to balance key dynamics and decisions to create a fair and equitable environment.

Presenter: Christa Kirby, (LinkedIn profile) MA, LCAT, PMP VP Talent Development & Leadership Practice Director,Corporate Education Group (CEG); has 15+ years of experience in communication, leadership, &  consulting for a global audience.
