When you think about SharePoint migration,
Your biggest concern is your data.

You want to move it and ensure that you’re not losing anything, but migration and data validation are only a portion of a good migration.

The key to creating a stellar migration experience for your company and your users is everything you do before and after the actual migration.

From pre-migration analysis and environment re-architecture to long term permissions/data administration and backup, these steps are essential for performing the most efficient migration and the easiest administration follow up.

In this month’s webinar, MetaVis Product Manager Chris Kolodziejski will discuss the importance of these steps and demonstrate some tools and methods that can help with your:

  1. Pre-migration environment and data analysis,
  2. Environment re-architecture
  3. Migration
  4. Security administration
  5. Backup

You will have the opportunity to see how you can utilize the tools within MetaVis Architect suite to make your migration quick, efficient, and best of all, a positive user/customer experience.

More than a decade has passed since the Agile Manifesto was written to help software developers implement a light-weight mindset and more efficient processes on the projects.

The ideas have now transformed into something much larger with an impact that can be seen across the majority of software development groups and organizations.

During this one-hour web seminar, Tom McGraw will discuss a brief evolution of Agile in software development.

Included will be his thoughts on the various flavors that are typically identified as Agile and how they tie to the original Manifesto.

Furthermore, Tom will discuss the idea of a ‘hybrid’ Agile approach (“AgileFall?”) and whether these groups are considered Agile.

He will explore how Agile is viewed by practitioners, specifically, whether Agile should be seen as black and white (i.e., your team is using it, or your team is not using it) versus the idea that Agile can be viewed as a spectrum, indicating that certain teams could be ‘more agile’ than others based on their processes.

By the end of the seminar, you will be equipped with the tools to better understand how your group is utilizing Agile processes and determine “Where your team falls on the ‘spectrum’.”
