This webinar will explore the best practices that can be employed to overcome the inherent challenges of managing an effective and cohesive virtual team, as well as highlight many of the benefits which can be achieved using the virtual team management techniques that are currently used by IAG to manage our teams of consultants and client engagements across North America.

Participants will come away from this webinar with practical methods they can apply in their environment to help them communicate with, track progress on and improve results from the remote individuals and teams they manage.

The Disney philosophy doesn’t start with customers. It starts with “castomers™”.

The formula is simple. A great castomer™ experience leads to a great customer experience.  Castomer™ care involves four elements summarized in the acronym TEAM.

TEAM:

  • Teach – Develop employees so they can reach their full potential
  • Engage – Involve employees in decisions that affect them
  • Appreciate – Acknowledge and thank employees for their efforts
  • Manage – Provide employees with the tools and assistance they need

  • Processes Disney uses to involve castomer™ in decisions
  • Recognition, rewards, and perks that honor castomer™ effort

Plan For The Future

To survive and succeed in the era of digital business, CIOs need intimate knowledge of their enterprises, not just an understanding of technology.

Business models and strategy reveal different and complementary views of the enterprise.

One is configured to create value and the other is the path to success.

Both can be useful tools for CIOs if they are leveraged properly.

In this presentation Richard Hunter (Gartner bio) VP Gartner & Fellow, describes the structures of business models and strategy, as well as the ways CIOs can use them to effectively identify enterprise opportunities and risk.

Discussion Topics:

  • Ways business models and digital strategy complement each other
  • How to maximize value from business models and strategy
  • Using business models and strategy to identify enterprise opportunities and risk
