Live Webinar – April 6th, 2023 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm EDT
Activity Type: Education – Course or Training  1 Hour  1 PDU free
Provider: Training Magazine Network

What could go wrong? Everything or nothing, as this session vividly demonstrates through a creative combination of comedic act and presentation analysis.

The presentation gets off to a rocky start when the presenter—former Disney leader Lenn Millbower—is locked out of the room and his not-very-good brother Les takes over.

Calamity follows calamity as Les communicates ineffectively, turns easy-to-comprehend information into complicated mush, displays hideous slides, and blows up the laptop.

The comedic segment ends as Les runs from the platform in total disarray. Lenn then takes over and, with the participant’s help, discusses what can go wrong in a presentation and how to prepare for the worst.

Live Webinar April 6th, 2023, 10:00 am – 11:00 am EDT
Activity Type: Education – Course or Training  1 Hour  1 PDU
Provider: Gartner Webinars

CIOs must develop and lead future-proof organizations that can evolve despite ongoing disruptions, such as the adoption of hybrid work, impacts of economic uncertainty, and digital acceleration.

Yet, many CIOs find their leadership potential and strategic influence limited by having to focus more on tactical obligations.

Instead, they need to more effectively delegate these tactical assignments so they can turn their attention to the future of their organization.

In this webinar Jennifer Carter (LinkedIn profile) Gartner Principal Analyst will help CIOs and IT leaders delegate more effectively so they can free up time for executive leadership and focusing on strategic priorities.

Discussion Topics:

  • Know the three key practices to determine if/when/how you should delegate a task
  • Identify the barriers that can prevent you from delegating to your fullest potential
  • Design and implement strategies to overcome any uncovered obstacles
