Redefining the Legal Services Delivery Model

Against a backdrop of increased regulation, technological advances, and globalization, lawyers both in-house and within private practice are examining their operating models.

Outsourcing of legal work to 3rd party providers onshore and offshore has emerged over the last 5 years as an alternative to the traditional legal services delivery model.

  • Should law firms view LPO as a threat or an opportunity?
  • What benefits can LPO bring to in-house counsel as they continue to struggle with the “more for less” conundrum?

This session will provide you with an introduction to LPO and discussion around the key ethical and practical considerations together with an overview of LPO case studies highlighting the crucial role of project management in successful engagements.

Topics covered:

  • Overview of legal process outsourcing (LPO)
  • Key LPO functions and benefits
  • Ethical Considerations and Risk Mitigation with LPO
  • Key market trends
  • Case studies
