For some of us, the lowly Lessons Learned is one of those ‘have to do’ items in the Project Management artifacts folder.

Some of us push it off, forget it, rush it, or minimize it.   If used correctly, it becomes the ‘primer’ for your next project.

We will see how it will save both time and money.  Over time your Lessons Learned will switch from issues to must haves.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Rethink the Lessons Learned process
  2. Understand the benefits of the Lessons Learned
  3. Prevent repeat issues, save time/money
  4. Create a workable template

Join John Balog, Kimberly Johnson (LinkedIn profile), & Brian Cohn (LinkedIn profile), and help include your lessons learned by including it your learning organization

Note: You have to sign in to ProjectManagement.com with your PMI® credentials to register for this opportunity. If you are not signed in with your PMI® credentials you will not see the “Register for this webinar” link

More than likely as a PMO leader you are responsible for a portfolio that will drive lasting changes in your organization.

  • Are you succeeding?
  • Are you looking at the impacts of delivering those projects
    • Beyond the traditional triple constraint of “on time; budget and scope”?

Most projects and transformational efforts struggle due to the lack of incorporating strong organizational change management (OCM) practices and approaches into the overall plan of the project.

Watch Adrienne DiPaolo, (LinkedIn profile) PMO & BPR Practice Lead, as she offers practical insights, approaches and considerations around incorporating organization change management best practices into your project governance framework.

What’s in the Video:

  • Why projects and programs fail due to lack of OCM
  • Effective stakeholder management strategies
  • A three-stage model of change and what to do at each stage
  • The project teams role in change management

Most leadership training and learning are based on the “Look at me” or “Look at them” emulation of best practices.

In the real world, learning to lead is about a mixture of skills, attitude and depth of perception. It is challenging and difficult to learn in classroom or in emulation, simulation or lecture and exercises.

In this session, Ray will show you experience-based learning using 10 real-life situations that challenge, provoke and inspire learners to learn how to lead.

Topics covered:

  • The superficial world and real world of leaders – what matters?
  • Practicing the thinking processes to solve or inspire others.
  • 10 methods on how to lead others to make turnaround decisions, reflections and actions, transfer of expertise, big picture thinking, nudging and many more.
  • Tactics in leading very dispersed and digitally capable workers and team members.
  • Attend the sessions and preview and own six video snippets on how to make leadership learning engaging.
