A PMI-funded research study identified how project staff use their knowledge networks to build project capabilities, and how knowledge is transferred, translated and managed in these networks.

Chivonne Algeo (LinkedIn profile) & Katrina Pugh  (LinkedIn profile) also explored the role of networks in providing mutual support for ‘members’ and as a coordination mechanism for the project.

The outcomes of the study will help project staff, and their organizations, to understand practical network design strategies and behaviors to transfer and manage knowledge across and within different project environments.

Online Webinar – Recorded
Activity Type:  Education – Online or Digital Media 1 PDU – Free
Provider: Gartner Webinars

Organizations have struggled with vulnerability management for years.

There are too many vulnerabilities to fix and not enough time to deploy the necessary patches.

But a vulnerability is only as bad as the threat exploiting it and the impact to the organization.

In this security and risk webinar, Augusto Barros, (LinkedIn profile, Gartner bio) VP Analyst, will help you evolve your prioritization of vulnerabilities from simple severity scores to a risk-based approach that correlates asset value, the severity of vulnerabilities and threat actor activity.

Discussion Topics:

  • How to prioritize vulnerabilities for better risk reduction
  • How to reduce the amount of work pushed to IT operations due to identified vulnerabilities
  • The most useful factors to consider for vulnerability prioritization

This session, based on Lenn’s book Care Like a Mouse: The Key to Disney Quality Service.  Learn how Disney harnesses human capital through Purpose, Priorities and People.

Lenn Millbower will share strategies & tactics participants you can apply to your organization.

  1. Purpose : The goal every team member aims to achieve.
