Live Webinar August 4th, 2022 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm EDT
Activity Type: Education – Course or Training  1 PDU – Free
Provider:  Korn Ferry

Almost nobody we speak to in the corporate world seems satisfied with their performance management processes — and absolutely nobody knows what to do about it.

We’ve all tried making tweaks. We’ve revisited, revised and relaunched. But few organizations have managed to crack the age-old problem of how to cultivate feedback conversations that consistently drive improvements in performance.

To get a fresh and informed perspective on the subject, we asked 67 top-flight performers in fields ranging from theatre, film, music, sports, the military and emergency healthcare settings to tell us about their experiences of performance feedback.

What they described to us was an approach, understanding and mindset that are unlike anything we are used to in the corporate sphere.

Hear from Korn Ferry’s panel of Sarah Fass, (LinkedIn profile) Chief Human Resources Office at Bridgewater, Iris Melendez, (LinkedIn profile) Strategic Talent Management Leader at Organon and Matt Deakin, (LinkedIn profile) an Olympic Gold Medal Rower on how this learning can transform the way the corporate world conducts performance feedback.

Online Webinar  – Recorded July 25, 2022
Activity Type: Education – Online or Digital Media  1 PDU – Free
Provider: Gartner Webinars

Organisations are under continued pressure to manage a highly volatile business environment. This includes rolling out hybrid operating models and addressing increased attention on diversity, equity and inclusion topics.

All the while, there is a need to focus on emerging challenges, such as repeated spikes in overall inflation and an increasingly competitive labour market.

While HR leaders are expected to help the business define a successful way forward, they recognise that their own strategies and operating models reach their limits, being too unresponsive and ineffective.

According to a Gartner survey, 84% of HR functions that have restructured in the past two years, are currently restructuring, or plan to in the next two years. HR leaders need to continue to think about ways to adapt and evolve their own functional strategy, operating model and talent.

In this webinar Rina Ong (LinkedIn profile, Gartner bio) Gartner Director Advisory, discusses Gartner’s 4 Key Components of HR Transformation that can help you share your strategic value to the business.

Rina will also walk through real life examples of what this looks like in action from your peers.

Discussion Topics:

  • Understand the four critical components of HR transformation to help you adapt your functional strategy
  • Discover how your peers are evolving their operating model and strategy successfully
  • How you can share the strategic value of your HR transformation to the business

Live Webinar – August 2nd, 2022 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm EDT
Activity Type: Education – Course or Training  1 Hour  1 PDU free
Provider: Training Magazine Network

Your organization invests a great deal into learning and development programs.

  • Do you know if your programs are working?
  • Worth the investment of time and other resources?
  • If your programs are meeting their goals, do you have insight as to why?
  • Or, if they’re not performing well, do you know what they need to succeed?

Program evaluation is about applying systematic methods to collect, analyze, interpret, and communicate data about a program to understand its design, implementation, outcomes, or impacts.

Simply put, it’s about asking good questions, gathering the right data, and using what we learn to make good decisions.

In this session Sheila will provide a brief overview of five phases of program evaluation:

  1. Engagement and understanding,
  2. Evaluation questions,
  3. Data collection,
  4. Data analysis and interpretation, and
  5. Reporting and use.

She will share key questions you need to ask and answer during each phase, along with a list of the types of tools you can use to conduct a program evaluation.

Learn:

  • The key phases of a program evaluation
  • How program evaluation is distinct from employee evaluation and from research
  • How program evaluation can contribute to continuous improvement
