Live Webinar November 20th, 2018 – 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm EST
Activity Type: Education – Course or Training  1 Hour  1 PDU
Provider: Human Capital Institute

Fifteen years ago, author Michael Lee Stallard worked in Wall Street where he observed the cultures of merging organizations didn’t mesh, and the differences sabotaged post-merger performance.

Michael wanted to do something about it so he left the Street and conducted research to better understand organizational culture.

To his surprise, despite the common view, Michael found there is a “best” type of culture when it comes to helping an organization thrive, especially during times of change, when strategies are evolving and attracting, engaging and retaining talent is essential to achieve sustainable superior performance.

He named this fine culture a “Connection Culture” and contrasted it with cultures of control and indifference that isolate people.

Michael teams up with HCI for the fourth #StorytellingTuesday webcast, during which you can get Michael’s latest report on a Connection Culture, including how people analytics and workforce planning, together, are instrumental to achieving the human connection that is essential for both individuals and organizations to thrive, no matter what comes their way.

Presenter: Michael Lee Stallard (LinkedIn@michaelstallard) delivers keynote speeches, teaches workshops, coaches and provides consulting services to help leaders create high-performance workplace cultures.  He is the president of E Pluribus Partners, a consulting firm and co-founder of ConnectionCulture.com.  Mike is a weekly contributor to the CEO Advisor column for Fox Business Network and the author of Connection Culture: The Competitive Advantage of Shared Identity, Empathy and Understanding at Work and Fired Up or Burned Out: Reignite Your Team’s Passion, Creativity and Productivity.
