What Does It Mean To Be ‘Mindful’?

How can one apply the practice of Mindfulness to enhance the performance of their project team(s) – and, while we’re at it — ourselves?

Mindfulness is nothing new, but in our age of constant digital bombardment, endless distractions, and paralyzing mind clutter, it’s more important than ever for PMs, leaders, stakeholders, and team members alike to be able to apply Mindfulness – awareness (and acceptance) — to what we think, feel, and therefore do (or don’t do).

In this webinar, Matthew Michaelson (LinkedIn profile) will introduce you to Mindfulness as an invaluable Wellness concept, as well as a management approach and (daily) practice for enhancing project team performance, individual calm, and the overall wellness of any organization.

Learning outcomes will include:

  • What Mindfulness is
    • And why it’s important in Project Management,
  • How one can bring Mindfulness to their team and to enhance client relations,
  • Mindfulness exercises to practice alone or with a group,
    • And a brief ‘5-minute Try’
      • An introduction to meditation.

The presenter will also offer short term and long term Mindfulness practice suggestions and resources for reference moving forward.
