PDU Of The Day
My Christmas Card To You

It has been quite a year for all of us  …  It is so hard to quantify the Emotional, Behavioral, Psychological & Economical Impact that this year has had on our families, our communities and our work.

As we look forward to 2021 we trust and pray that together we can work towards finding a new normal that creates engagement between communities that assists, supports and encourages each other.

Here at PDU Of The Day … We are starting our 2nd decade of supporting our community …we love sharing new learning experiences with you as you grow your career skills.

If you can give back and support others in any way PLEASE, PLEASE DO … We need it more than ever at this stressful time.

May Peace & Love Surround You … May your life be filled with sunshine, may your every wish come true … May you find the sweet fulfillment in everything you do …May your days be blessed with the very very best both now & for the whole year through!

I genuinely want to thank all of our readers and our volunteers who make this site possible! I know that you are of many diverse backgrounds and faiths and at this time of year I appreciate being able to express my thanks and best wishes in one of my favorite holiday songs. The lyrics of this song express my thoughts and my prayers to all of you so much better than I can express.

YOU ALL make this possible! Blessings to you all!

My Christmas Card To You

Written by Tony Romeo Sung by: David Cassidy Discography

To you and all your family, your neighbors and your friends
May all your days be happy with a joy that never ends
May peace and love surround you
at Christmas time and all the whole year through …

I’m looking out my window at the softly falling snow
that dances in the early morning light
I got my guitar right before me, strummin’ a beautiful sound
watching it a-comin’ down, all around
on the fields and the farms and the road to town

And I’m thinkin’ up a letter that I’m writin’ in my head
a Christmas card to all the folks I love
Instead of lettin’ the postman bring it, I decided I’d rather sing it
especially for you, for you …

To you and all your family, your neighbors and your friends
May all your days be happy with a joy that never ends
May peace and love surround you
at Christmas time and all the whole year through

May your life be filled with sunshine, may your every wish come true
May you find the sweet fulfillment in everything you do
May your days be blessed with the very very best
both now and the whole year through
it says so in my Christmas card to …

You and all your family, your neighbors and your friends
May all your days be happy with a joy that never ends
May peace and love surround you
at Christmas time and all the whole year through
at Christmas time and all the whole year through

Please do what you can to support others even if it is only to share a smile!

Few things have a bigger impact on project delays – and project manager frustration – than executive stakeholders who won’t engage.

Though they pay lip service to the value of a strategic project, when it comes time to actually review a document, provide feedback or update the status of a task, those stakeholders are often nowhere to be found.Sound familiar?

Then join Tony Toglia (LinkedIn profile) Fremont-Rideout Health Group & Shawn Dickerson (LinkedIn profile) GTM Director, Workfront; for an engaging discussion around how to get your project stakeholders off the sidelines and into the game. You will discover how to:

Learning Objectives:

  1. Deliver real-time updates
    • Provide full visibility to all project stakeholders, instead of static reports that are outdated as soon as they’re produced

Working on social good projects has always propelled individuals and organizations with the satisfaction of giving back but also created the much necessary positive impact for the society, resulting in community development and growth.

The year 2020 has been the darkest in the history, among many adversities that hit mankind, COVID-19 has been the deadliest.

The need for creating connections (and retaining the existing ones) has never been that immense before not only to learn how to survive but to transform, to adapt and more importantly keeping a tighter grip on our sanity by helping each other and providing that feeling of togetherness in the wilderness.

The project #WeAreStrongerTogether was initiated to instill that feeling of togetherness among the project management community by their very own, determined for taking care of  each other mentally, physically and most importantly emotionally and helping each of us getting through CRISIS by sharing what it takes to PIVOT and succeed.

WE ARE STRONGER TOGETHER helped lot of us for creating that emotional connection through experience sharing with the people around us inhibiting similarities but also enabled people in developing resilience by drawing strength from each other through communication, Trust and Emotional Commitment

While 96% of companies are in the midst of organizational transformations — including M&A, business model changes, strategy shifts and digitalization — two-thirds of planned changes are unsuccessful.

Often, cultural barriers and change resistance cause this failure. Communicators must help to shape their organization’s culture to keep pace with, and even accelerate, transformation goals.

Join Iliyana Hadjistoyanova Gartner (LinkedIn profile, Gartner bio) to get the keys to successfully shaping culture in times of change.

Discussion Topics:

  • How culture impedes or supports organizational transformation
  • What drives high employee performance through transformation and cultural evolution
  • Which companies have successfully fostered culture-informed judgment in employee decision-making
