The need for talent management has been a significant focus for some time PMI’s launching of the Talent Triangle helps to reinforce this.

The idea of “talent management,” though, is framed as something done to other people. Or something that we need to wait for others to do to us.

Success in this day and age means that we need to take responsibility for our own careers, and our own development.

In this presentation Mark Mullaly (LinkedIn profile) author of Researching the Value of Project Management explores what it takes to successfully be your own talent manager.

Live Webinar – January 19th, 2021 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm EST
Activity Type: Education – Course or Training  1 Hour  1 PDU free
Provider: Training Magazine Network

Virtual training and webinars are unfortunately known for their technical breakdowns. Ask anyone what they dislike about learning online and the answer is usually that it’s boring, it’s not engaging, and there are too many technical problems.

The first 10 minutes of live online sessions is often spent on struggles to get everyone connected and making the audio work. Identifying someone to be your virtual producer (or someone who performs that role) will transform not only the way you run your online training, but also how you and your attendees feel about them.

Producers help every aspect of virtual training run effectively starting with the technology itself, assisting the attendees as needed, and allowing trainers and presenters to focus on the learning experience.

Attend this energetic & engaging live session and you’ll learn these plus much, much more:

  • Identify the different types of producers and when to use each depending on the virtual session being delivered
  • Determine the necessary skills to develop people (including existing virtual trainers) to be effective producers
  • Create an action plan to ensure the production of your virtual sessions are engaging every time

Presenter: Kassy LaBorie (LinkedIn profile) Director of Virtual Training Services for Dale Carnegie Training, is an indemand keynote speaker & leads a consultancy  to develop online training strategies for organizations . Her book Interact and Engage! 50+ Activities for Virtual Training, Meetings, Webinars, has received rave reviews.  Previously Kassy served as the Product Design Architect and was a Master Trainer for InSync Training, & ExecuTrain.  Kassy also helped create the WebEx University. Engagement and performance are critical anchors to successful businesses. While we know they can deliver impactful results, many organizations aren’t always sure how to power them or exactly what ROI their efforts will deliver.

Objectives like enabling remote work and increasing leader effectiveness require being able to see where work is happening in real time, understand how people are feeling about it and then knowing what to do.

Exploring research-backed practices and their benefits, costs and risks, this webinar digs into the real, tangible, bottom-line ROI that organizations can see from proven engagement and performance initiatives.

The results are impressive, with users seeing a 219% ROI as well as:

  • Sustainable increases in engagement and performance
  • Elimination of low-value work
  • Quick results and investment payback

In this webinar, Amy Harrison, (LinkedIn profile) Senior Forrester Consultant, talks to Christian Gomez (LinkedIn profile) StandOut VP of Strategy  to discuss the findings — and what they could mean for your business.

Here’s What You’ll Learn

  1. How to achieve sustainable increases in Engagement and Performance
  2. The ROI of an effective engagement and performance strategy

Live Webinar January 19th, 2021, 11:00 am – 12:00 pm EST
Activity Type: Education – Course or Training  1 Hour  1 PDU
Provider: Gartner Webinars

Ask The Experts Series

With 48% of employees indicating they want to work remotely at least part of the time after COVID-19 — up from 30% before the pandemic — organizations increasingly look at how to embed remote work into their short- and long-term workforce strategies.

HR leaders, the C-Suite, and boards must understand the ground realities of remote work, such as how peers and competitors approach it, the impact on Employee Value Proposition (EVP), Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) strategy and talent attraction, along with long-term cost implications.

In this webinar Scott Engler (LinkedIn profile, Gartner bio) Gartner Principal Executive Advisor HR  lets you ask a panel of Gartner experts your most-present remote work questions and concerns.

Discussion Topics:

  • Get answers to top remote work strategy questions from organizations across industries
  • Use labor market data to inform decisions around remote and hybrid workforce models
  • Identify implications for EVP sentiment, DEI strategy and strategic talent sourcing
