We all want successful projects. Projects that not only deliver a product on time, on budget, and on scope, but also value to customers.

In this webinar Peter Monkhouse & Joanna Tivig will start with defining value creation and value delivery to make a thriving business model and a happy customer.

Then they will explore the two main ways that a product or service can offer value to customers.

  1. The first way is value creation, to ensure that the product has the features that customers need, and they see value in.
    • To do this, they will discuss prioritization techniques to ensure the highest priority features are delivered first, for every release.
  2. The second way is value delivery, through value stream mapping and waste elimination while developing a product.

As a project manager, you need to understand where waste is created and look for ways to eliminate it in your project management processes. Lean processes combined with strong value delivery approaches will help your organization become successful in the long term.

Workplace Engagement Must Be Sustainable

Towers Watson’s 2012 Global Workforce Study provides a snapshot of the attitudes and concerns of 32,000 workers around the world. And it presents a new and more robust definition of engagement “sustainable engagement” designed for the 21st-century workplace.

Globally, nearly two-thirds (65%) of the more than 32,000 full-time workers participating in our study are not highly engaged. While this isn’t surprising, considering workers have been doing more with less, and for less, for over half a decade   it poses a significant risk for employers.

What actions can they take to turn the tide, given the significant implications of declining engagement on productivity and performance?

Attendees will learn critical insights on how they can focus on sustainable engagement and take their organizations to the next level.

Webcast topics will include:

  • How does Sustainable Engagement differ from more traditional notions, and what are the implications for business performance?
  • How can employers influence Sustainable Engagement, i.e., what are its strongest drivers?
  • How do these drivers vary for different segments of the workforce?

Employee engagement is always a timely topic. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to hear directly Towers Watson experts, Adam Zuckerman (LinkedIn profile) and Jill Perkins (LinkedIn profile) about the current state of employee engagement.
