PDU Of The Day
My Christmas Card To You

It has been another really hard year for us all!

It is so hard to quantify the Emotional, Behavioral, Psychological & Economical Impact that this year has had on our teams our families, our communities and our work.

As we look forward to 2022 we trust and pray that together we can work towards finding a new normal that creates engagement between communities that assists, supports and encourages each other.

Here at PDU Of The Day … We are in our  our 2nd decade of supporting our community …we love sharing new learning experiences with you as you grow your career skills.

This year many project managers as starting to understand how crucially important respect and project team wellness are to the productivity of the project.

In 2022 expect to see an increase in webinars on employee wellness, retention, and engagement.

If you can support your teams in any way, recognize that building engagement builds loyalty  … As we are divided more than ever … building unity and respect amongst our teams is the best way to succeed!

May Peace & Love Surround You … May your life be filled with sunshine, may your every wish come true … May you find the sweet fulfillment in everything you do …May your days be blessed with the very very best both now & for the whole year through!

I genuinely want to thank all of our readers and our volunteers who make this site possible! I know that you are of many diverse backgrounds and faiths and at this time of year I appreciate being able to express my thanks and best wishes in one of my favorite holiday songs. The lyrics of this song express my thoughts and my prayers to all of you so much better than I can express.

YOU ALL make this possible! Blessings to you all!

My Christmas Card To You

Written by Tony Romeo Sung by: David Cassidy Discography

To you and all your family, your neighbors and your friends
May all your days be happy with a joy that never ends
May peace and love surround you
at Christmas time and all the whole year through …

I’m looking out my window at the softly falling snow
that dances in the early morning light
I got my guitar right before me, strummin’ a beautiful sound
watching it a-comin’ down, all around
on the fields and the farms and the road to town

And I’m thinkin’ up a letter that I’m writin’ in my head
a Christmas card to all the folks I love
Instead of lettin’ the postman bring it, I decided I’d rather sing it
especially for you, for you …

To you and all your family, your neighbors and your friends
May all your days be happy with a joy that never ends
May peace and love surround you
at Christmas time and all the whole year through

May your life be filled with sunshine, may your every wish come true
May you find the sweet fulfillment in everything you do
May your days be blessed with the very very best
both now and the whole year through
it says so in my Christmas card to …

You and all your family, your neighbors and your friends
May all your days be happy with a joy that never ends
May peace and love surround you
at Christmas time and all the whole year through
at Christmas time and all the whole year through

Please do what you can to support others even if it is only to share a smile!

The success of your organization often depends on how efficiently you deliver a product or service.

For most of us, we manage this effort with some kind of scheduling software—typically Microsoft Project.

But just because you implement a scheduling program, it does not guarantee successful project outcomes.

You can survey your project managers or schedule owners, but you still may not find the reasons why some projects achieve a successful outcome and why others do not.

Auditing a schedule is a great way to evaluate a schedule, capture lessons learned from projects, and determine how to improve the success of your organization.

Cindy’s objective in this webinar is to discuss scheduling audits, provide examples of what these audits might reveal, and provide suggestions to get started with auditing in your organization.

Learn:

  • How audits drive consistency and show opportunities for schedule efficiency;
  • How to ensure a visible critical path and verify resource workloads are properly loaded;
  • The #1 mistake organizations make monitoring progress and how to fix it;
  • Why missing baseline information prevents lessons learned.

Presenter: Cindy Lewis, (LinkedIn profile) PMP, PMI-SP, MOS, MCTS, MS, MCT, MVP-Project Sr Trainer/Consultant CorpEd Group, has  20+ years of experience in the field of project management.  Cindy specializes in consulting with clients on Agile and scheduling techniques and targeted one-to-one mentoring. A very learned and experienced Microsoft® Project, Project Server and Project Online professional, Cindy aims to facilitate technology-driven solutions that  improve project management effectiveness.
