Everything we talked about since the start of the “mastering” series has been about relationships and making them stronger.

Having a solid contract is a natural extension of those goals. When you have a great contract with the loop holes closed, you can focus on building a relationship as that is critical to project success.

So, in short:

  1. A contract is a relationship and you create a project family.
  2. You agree to be bound together to get project management goals on the same page and
  3. Deliver results!

Dana Bernstein (LinkedIn profile) is presenting this session along with some these great PDU webinars:

Change Is Scary!

There’s no avoiding it. During times of rapid growth or mergers and acquisitions, fear and uncertainty creeps into our organizations.

What’s worse, with the focus on updating our strategies or juggling HRIS needs, company culture is put on the backburner – until it’s too late.

Have you ever gone through massive growth or M&As only to hear feedback that your culture “just isn’t the same” and see employee engagement scores suffer on the other side?

If so, join HCI experts Dania Shaheen (LinkedIn profile) Vice President, People & Strategy, Kazoo & Rachel Naugle (LinkedIn profile) Manager of Compensation at 2U to learn:

  • Common mistakes that lead to cultural misalignment during mergers and acquisitions
  • How to manage, build, and evolve culture during growth rather than after it happens
  • Actionable advice and recent research for keeping culture strong during times of change

Gain A New Perspective On The Future Of Learning

With quickly evolving technologies and a consumer-centric culture that can find, purchase, and receive what they need within 24 hours, learning professionals need to keep pace.

We can’t expect our workforce to learn how to repair a leaky pipe on YouTube within minutes at home and then come to work to view a 90-minute eLearning module to find out about a software update. But what’s more, today’s workforce wants to know WHY they need to learn, they want context, they want to know the purpose.

Join Dawn & Jeff to find out why and how learning isn’t only something you should do because it’s good for you but something that truly makes sense for your organization.

Presenters:

Dawn Baron (LinkedIn profile) Product Marketing Manager Gomo Learning & instilled LXP,  hears what challenges the profession is currently facing and works with the gomo and instilled teams to position learning technologies to facilitate these issues. Dawn has spent the majority of her career in corporate learning as Vice President of Marketing for the Association for Talent Development (ATD) and as the president of her own marketing consultancy focused on messaging education throughout businesses and associations.
