The next generation of the PMBOK® Guide presents a major breaking point with legacy options.

Where the previous versions were primarily process-prescriptive, this edition provides a wealth of considerations gathered from seasoned professionals from across the globe.

What adaptations and changes had PMI made to the PMBOK® Guide and how are they relevant to how we currently practice project management?

Lesson 3: The Eight Project Performance Domains

In this third session, MPUG will provide an overview of the eight Project Performance Domains within PMI’s PMBOK® Guide Seventh Edition and how they present a “next step” in tailoring a program, project, and product management process suited to any industry.

Learning Objectives:

  • Define the eight Project Performance Domains in PMI’s PMBOK® Guide Seventh Edition
  • Describe each of the Project Performance Domains and their practices
  • Relate practices for each Project Performance Domain to mature documentation processes

Presenter: Jeff Bongiovani (LinkedIn profile) is an Instructional Designer for Edwards Performance Solutions, creating and developing courses in Project Management and Systems Engineering. Previously, he had been a technology trainer for fifteen plus years, teaching courses in Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, and several programming languages.
