Many businesses struggle when it comes to establishing a standardized approach to project management. And nowhere is this more evident than in the process and approach of project selection and prioritization.

We build layers of complexity and governance to select what our organizations will work on this year, next year, and beyond, and yet, we know there exists a dirty little secret about this process…it doesn’t matter.

Projects are often selected based on political reasons; whose pet project it is, what the HIPPO wants, who holds “sway”, etc. This has the profound impact of generating project waste, through investing time and money on things that simply don’t matter, and on the flipside, missing out on opportunities offered by roads untaken.

Often, these projects are misaligned to the needs of the business, the customer, and the staff. No wonder we’re all so frustrated!

In this presentation,  Vincent will go backward to find our way forward. Through leveraging a project prioritization tool borrowed from the Lean Six Sigma methodology, and he will engage in a discussion on the current prioritization process, how incredibly painful it is, and a simple, but effective, alternative to our current project prioritization approach; one that supports and ensures alignment to objectives of the enterprise, supports the needs of the business, and improves the value given to customers.

Vincent will give you the power to focus on ensuring your organization is doing the right work, at the right time, in the right priority.

There is little doubt that artificial intelligence (AI) will transform business and IT, but there will not be just one transformation.

AI is not a product, service or technology. AI is most simply a category of capabilities. But this “category of capabilities” has the potential to enhance, advance, transform and disrupt.

Join this complimentary webinar for a look at the current state of IT spending around the world. John-David Lovelock, (LinkedIn profile, Gartner bio) Gartner Research VP,  Bryan Britz (LinkedIn profile, Gartner bio) Gartner Chief Of Research, & Rajesh Kandaswamy (LinkedIn profile, Gartner bio) Gartner Chief Of Research; as they look at how Q1 spending impacts the many aspects of AI and its power to enhance and create, as well as its marketing challenges.

Discussion Topics:

  • Where to use AI to enhance a product or service
  • When to build AI as a product or service
  • How to sell AI as an enhancement, a product or a service
