Live Webinar October 19th, 2022, 11:00 am – 12:00 pm EDT
Activity Type: Education – Course or Training  1 Hour  1 PDU
Provider: Gartner Webinars

The globe is suffering from persistent high inflation, supply chain disruption and political instability.

Central banks are responding to the inflation by raising prime interest rates closer to the long term average.

The effect on consumer’s spending on IT has been immediate. They are no longer spending with growth rates on devices negative across the board.

Conversely, enterprises are not cutting IT spend, they are in fact increasing digital transformation projects in 2022.

In this webinar John-David Lovelock, (LinkedIn profile, Gartner bio) Gartner Distinguished VP Analyst & Chief Forecaster, will review the global IT spending forecast, the reactions Gartner is seeing from CIOs to inflation, the changing quantitative environment, and the expanding role of digital transformation projects.

Discussion Topics:

  • Examine Gartner forecasts for IT spending growth in 2022 and beyond
  • Understand the industry highs and lows
  • Learn the dichotomy of device and on-prem vs cloud spending
