Some people have the opinion that flashy AI and analytics tools are the essential ingredient to enable

Project Data Analytics as a discipline to deliver value to our wider stakeholders.

Using examples from major investment programmes he has been involved in, Julian will try and redress the balance of priorities for Project Data Analytics to increase understanding of the importance of data in the overall approach.

Julian will discuss:

  • Is Garbage In, Garbage Out still relevant?
  • What do we mean by data quality?
  • How do our staff impact data quality?
  • How ISO[masked] can provide a framework for managing your data
  • The importance of data standards

Presenter:  Julian Schwarzenbach  (LinkedIn profile) is a consultant and data evangelist with 25+ years’ experience in data management in a variety of contexts including water, rail, highways and petrochemicals. He is co-author of ‘Managing Data Quality: A Practical Guide’ and the originator of the Data Zoo concept; a unique exploration of the different generic behaviours people exhibit towards data and what drives these behaviours and regularly presents at conferences on data-related topics.  Julian is also Chair of the BCS Data Management Specialist Group and is a member of the BSI B/555, AMT/4 and MBD/1 committees covering standards development relating to data.

There are many ways in which Agile adoption is attempted at the Enterprise level.

In the last decade, the most common approach is scaling up Team oriented frameworks, like Scrum, to entire Business Units and later to the entire enterprise.

Little known or not mentioned, most of the concepts and Agile practices originated in the late 1970s (or even earlier) when the work environment was transformed by the introduction of the (personal) computer in the workplace – first as the ‘brain’ of machine tools and later as an office tool.

Agile transformation is an Organizational Change, it follows the rules of any Business Transformation and needs Executive support in order to succeed.

This webinar is a presentation of the Agile transformation that  In this webinar Stelian Roman (LinkedIn profile) was involved in, focusing on the role and the importance of executive support in Agile adoption.

In this webinar, Clare Horvik (LinkedIn profile) Sr. Contributor & Director of Marketing Verified Credentials, will address the 9 most common myths about background checks.

Using real-life examples and inside research, we will challenge several commonly held beliefs that are used to determine what, how, and why certain background checks are used.

Discover the real story about:

  • When product mix-ups happen for similar names or sources
  • How you could miss records by using only limited information or identifiers
  • What misconceptions about sources may leave gaps in screening results
