We hear a lot about personal agility, yet what does it mean to be agile? In today’s fast-changing world, an agile mindset is more important than ever.

Cynthia Kahn, (LinkedIn profile) Founder of GSD Mindset and Tedx Speaker, will show you how to apply the agile mindset to set well-defined goals and how to achieve them.

Those who succeed post-COVID-19 cannot afford to become overwhelmed by uncertainty. We can beat overwhelm by applying three aspects of agile frameworks:

  1. Focus on what’s important,
  2. Accomplish something now, and
  3. Take time to reflect.

Personal agility is an extension of the agile principles we already apply to software development: Set well-defined objectives, put together an action plan based on achievable accomplishments and move forward with actions we can take now. Through accomplishment, we learn from real-life feedback and decide whether to continue or pivot.

Activity Type: Education – Course or Training  1 Hour  1 PDU
Provider: Human Capital Institute

As society looks to rebound from Covid-19, enterprises are figuring out how to balance what appears to be a lasting shift toward remote work with the value of the physical workplace.

The pandemic has posed an existential question:

  • What’s an office for?
    1. A way for bosses to oversee shirkers?
    2. A reason to leave home? A source of friends and social life?
    3. A fancy digital platform for collaboration?

The pandemic presented us with an unprecedented opportunity to rethink the importance of presence, proximity, and priority in designing and planning work life.

In this session, you will:

  • Learn the upside of creating an environment where we want to do more with less and its unintended consequences.
  • Understand the nature and importance of presence, proximity, and priority in a post-pandemic world.
  • Identify structural and behavioral factors to improve the presence, proximity, and priority of future work life.

Join Zhike Lei (LinkedIn profile) PhD Associate Professor of Applied Behavioral Science, Graziado Business School, Pepperdine University for this insightful webinar.
