Live Webinar March 8th, 2022 – 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm EST
Activity Type: Education – Course or Training  1 Hour  1 PDU free
Provider:  The Corporate Education Group ( REP 1011 )

The pandemic has taken a disproportionate toll on women in the workplace.

According to the Women in the Workplace 2021 study by McKinsey and LeanIn.org, one in three women has considered leaving the workforce or downshifting their career over the last year.

Those numbers rise dramatically for women of color. And while stress, burnout, and exhaustion continue to affect women more than men, women continue to take consistent action to support their teams and promote well-being.

In honor of International Women’s Day, Corporate Education Group invites people of all genders to join them for an exploration of what it means to be a woman leader – or aspiring leader – in the world today.

  1. What can women do to build their resilience and unique skills and capabilities while supporting the people they lead?
  2. What can men do to recognize the work of women leaders and empower them to be successful in the workplace?

Join them for this important and timely conversation and help shape better outcomes for all of your employees.

Activity Type: Education – Course or Training  1 Hour  1 PDU
Provider: Association for Project Management – APM

Research by Association for Project Management (APM) suggests that more women are joining the project profession, but the gender gap is still significant. Data from our Salary and Market Trends Survey 2021 showed that 37 per cent of project practitioners are women. What more can be done to make the profession more reflective of society, and how can more women be enabled to reach the top of the career ladder?

In this discussion, a diverse group of project experts will share their insights on issues affecting women in the profession and consider what more can be done to improve equality and inclusivity in the workplace.

This live, free-to-attend event will consist of a roundtable-style discussion and Q&A session. By attending, you will be able to hear insights from APM experts of our leadership team, Chartered Project Professionals and members of our Women in Project Management Specific Interest Group (SIG). You will also have the chance to put your own questions to the panel.

This event has been organised to coincide with International Women’s Day but is suitable for professionals of any gender and with any level of experience.

Activity Type: Education – Course or Training  1 Hour  1 PDU
Provider: Human Capital Institute

Looking back over the course of our lives, each of us has encountered people who helped set us on the right path – who helped us course-correct and find our true purpose. And often we find these people in the mostly unassuming of places.

Steve Pemberton (LinkedIn profile) Author & Workhuman CHRO calls these people “human lighthouses.”

They are “steadfast and faithful, humble yet unwavering, always illuminating the pathway to hope and sanctuary.”

Join HCI for a special event as Steve shares his personal journey of uncovering the human lighthouses in his own life, like his former high school counselor John Sykes.

Through stories of people like John and others, you will have the opportunity to reflect on the lighthouses in your own life and learn practical ways to be a lighthouse for others through everyday acts of gratitude, appreciation, and recognition.

During this webinar you will:

  • Gain actionable insights to create an organizational culture that drives engagement
  • Learn how small, everyday moments of gratitude can be a bridge to inclusion and belonging
